Ruhamah knows how complex taxes can be—especially when the rules change so often—and she takes a keen interest in researching all the little details that can make a massive difference to a client’s bottom line.

Born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia, Ruhamah earned degrees in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Maryland. Admittedly, she stumbled into tax accounting accidentally, but she’s grateful she did. Her first foray in the field was interning for a CPA with her own firm, who mentored her, introduced her to tax, and set her on her current path.

Though Ruhamah loves what she does, she freely admits that her love for shoes and having the means to purchase the things that make her happy is what keeps her going. She is currently learning to ice skate and enjoys running. Having completed a half-marathon, she is looking forward to running a full one.
